Michelle Sedlacek, PA-C

General Urology, Female Urology

A lover of the great outdoors, I was fortunate to grow up in Flagstaff, AZ, where I thoroughly enjoyed the hiking, the skiing, and the small town vibe. As a child, I was also fortunate to have an extremely encouraging and helpful physician who inspired me to pursue a career in medicine.  When I “grew up,” I attended Friends University and earned Bachelor’s degrees in both biology and Spanish, biology because it was a good foundation for medical training and Spanish because I have always been fascinated by languages. You see, I love people, and knowing more languages means being able to communicate with more people. I was privileged to put my Spanish to use in college during a 3-month mission to Bolivia where I loved every minute as I helped people and got to know them.  I went on to receive my Master of Physician Assistant degree from Wichita State University in 2008. I spent my early career working in Emergency Medicine in Topeka, KS, where I loved providing relief to people when they weren’t feeling very good. I also feel like the ER helped to give me a broader perspective and opened my mind. In 2011 my husband and I moved to Phoenix, and I worked in Urgent Care for a little while until I joined the PeeDoc team in 2016.  I have been so excited to work at Arizona Center for Urology! Here I love that I truly get to know my patients, and I especially love being able to see them progress and get better.

I enjoy spending my free time with my husband and two small boys. We often visit family in Kansas, and we spend a lot time at the park. As a family, we love to travel and be outside whenever possible.
